MG My Gateway – the Apprenticeships, Traineeships and Quality Training Experts are pleased to announce details of their upcoming Metals & Carpentry Pre-Apprenticeship Courses.

Metals Pre-apprenticeship
When 26th October 2015 – 4th December 2015

Monday/Wednesday/Friday x 6 weeks

Where TAFE – Campbelltown
Criteria Aged 17-24yrs. Considering or wanting to explore a trade career in metals/engineering

Fees Nil. The course is funded by the NSW Government, State Training Services.
Extras Basic safety gear supplied at no cost.
Employment Prospects The course is designed to help participants prepare for employment as apprentices. Completing students will be considered for apprenticeship employment with My Gateway.
Other You will be trained at TAFE (Monday/Wednesday/Friday) for six (6) weeks and be placed with local engineering/manufacturing companies by My Gateway for work experience on non-class days.

The course is the equivalent to the first semester of the trade course, which will may give you credit towards your apprenticeship.

 

Carpentry Pre-apprenticeship
When 19th October 2015 – 13th November 2015

Monday-Thursday x 4 weeks

Where TAFE – MBISC Ingleburn. MBISC = Macarthur Building Industry Skills Centre
Criteria Aged 17-24yrs. Considering or wanting to explore a trade career in carpentry. Must hold or will be eligible to hold a provisional drivers licence by 31st Dec 2015.
